California Walnuts
The California Walnut Board represents the walnut growers of California, who grow 99% of the walnuts in the U.S. One of the biggest user experience challenges was to design a food website for very diverse target users. Through my creative leadership and hands-on UX and UI design, I brought to the table an all-new user experience, an ultra-modern design, and a mouth-watering food brand.

Designing a food site for diverse users
I led the creative vision and UX/UI design for walnuts.org, transforming it into a modern, engaging food brand and resource. The site offers recipes, how-to tips, and nutrition advice for consumers, while also catering to health professionals, the walnut industry, and foodservice experts. Tackling the challenge of designing for diverse users, I developed a site structure and flow that supports both consumer cooks and industry professionals. I art-directed and crafted a fresh, contemporary UI design, incorporating color coding and photography to distinguish consumer content from professional resources, ensuring an intuitive and visually appealing experience for all audiences.
Outcomes
