As a design leader and founder at UX agency iiD, I partnered with Fitbit to create an interactive in-store experience that educated shoppers and boosted engagement. With the wearables market still emerging, many consumers struggled to differentiate devices and understand their value. I led the design of a digital tool that simplified product selection while showcasing Fitbit’s full range in an intuitive, compelling way.

What I Brought

  • As design lead, I established the UX strategy and explored three key approaches: a streamlined product path, an experience-driven journey highlighting Fitbit’s impact, and an immersive, video-led narrative. Through rapid iteration, I balanced clarity, engagement, and conversion to create an effective customer experience.

  • I developed a structured, linear narrative using dynamic visuals, animated type, iconography, and video to guide customers seamlessly. My focus was making the experience intuitive and engaging—helping users quickly understand Fitbit’s lineup while enabling deeper exploration. The result was an app that both educated and inspired action.

  • I worked closely with Fitbit to craft a bold visual direction, blending brand assets with fresh typographic and illustrative elements. The final interactive experience reinforced Fitbit’s identity while elevating in-store engagement.
